Something very wicked comes this way…

FMA + 12 Gage are two MC’s bound by blood. They combine the aggression of metal and the verbal skills of hip-hop with the energy of youth and the experience of age to create songs that are a fusion of high energy rap, electronic, metal and dance music.

They have performed all over the country and have been featured on BBC and Channel 5 news. In 2019 they were chosen to be the face of the Give us a break anti bullying campaign and their charity song Spectrum gained nationwide coverage. A common phrase heard at any of their performances is, ‘I don’t normally like rap, but I liked that!’ Energy, skill and passion transcends genres.

FMA + 12 Gage are a glimpse of reality in a world of insanity. They don’t write about money, drugs or women, they write about the darkness inside their minds.

They are an act unlike any other…

FMA + 12 Gage are made up of father and son duo – Matthew Bennett (FMA) and Callum Gage Bennett (12 Gage). Matthew was born in 1979 and has been involved in music projects since the age of 15. His background has been the hardcore/metal scene and he was a vocalist in the Preston based, venue destroying Hardcore/Metal/Rap band: For My Anger. Matthew has played with acts such as Bring Me The Horizon, Bleeding Through, Dry Kill Logic, Napalm Death, I Killed The Prom Queen and more.

Callum was born in 1998 and developed a passion for music at a young age. He began free styling and writing lyrics at the age of 12 and by the age of 15 he felt that the world was ready for him to showcase his skills.

They recorded their first E.P. ‘Like Father Like Son’ in August 2014 and recorded their second EP ‘Something Wicked This Way Comes’ in September 2015.
